As your child's 7th grade Reading & Writing teacher, I would like to introduce myself and tell you a little bit more about me. This is my first year teaching at Woodlawn Middle School. Prior to this year, I was a special education teacher's assistant for one year at Woodlawn. I graduated from Northern Illinois University in 2012 with a degree in Elementary Education. I have middle school endorsements in Language Arts, Mathematics, and Social Sciences.
As I believe parent-teacher communication is vital to a child's success, I encourage you to please feel free to contact me at any time. Although you may reach me by phone at (847) 353-8500 ext. 7404 , the best way to reach me is by email at [email protected].
While I will do my best to update the homework calendar on this site daily, please also check your child's assignment notebook to help him or her stay on top of daily work. Also, please check the website to check due dates of long term assignments.
